how does it heal the body?In Pilates we aim to optimise efficient movement strategy by primarily activating the smaller intrinsic muscles near the bone to stabilise the joints. It is these smaller muscles including the core that help us to move in a holistic way that is connected and flowing creating ease of movement which has an effortless quality. It keeps the joints moving without any undue stress.
